Tea Tree oil can be used with coconut oil, olive oil, and almond carrier oils.
- Skin: Add
3 to 4 drops in almond oil to soothe dry skin leave it on overnight to
see best results. Simply add a few drops to a mixture of yogurt and
honey for skin-brightening effects. Combine with shea butter or coconut
oil to create salves to treat infections.
- Hair: Mix
equal parts with coconut oil and massage into the scalp before rinsing
it thoroughly to soothe the scalp and treat dandruff. Mix with a light
carrier oil like almond oil and use as a serum. Add a few drops in your
regular hair care products to enhance their therapeutic properties.
- Massage: Ease out the stress in your mind while loosening up tired muscles. Mix 5 drops in 10ml of base oil for massage.
- Aromatherapy: Diffused
aromatically; drop 5-8 drops in a diffuser burner or vaporizer. It will
give off a pleasurable aroma creating a pleasant atmosphere on any
occasion, disinfecting the air of unwanted odors and some airborne
pathogens.
- Natural Deodorizer: Combine with Shea Butter and Coconut Oil or Beeswax and pour into a roll-on bottle to make a natural deodorant.
- Repel insects and soothe insect bites: Combine 3-4 drops of tea tree oil with water for a DIY insect repellent solution.
